Irish & Scottish Stick Fighting - April 18th
with Roger Stone & Aoife Guilfoyle
|
This hands-on event introduces traditional Irish and Scottish stick fighting skills, including footwork, striking, control, and partner drills, in a friendly, supportive environment perfect for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Irish stick fighting, also known as bataireacht, is a historic Celtic martial art with roots in self-defense and community tradition, and workshops like this offer both practical skill development and cultural insight.
